The Patriots have 9 fumbles through 9 games, on pace for 16 fumbles all season.
Last season they had 13 through 16
The previous season they had 23 through 16
In 2012 they had 14 through 16.
Literally half of this seasons fumbles have come off Brady strip sacks due to him being hit from behind. Edelman fumbled once and Lewis twice. No other receiver or running back has fumbled.
These are all straight from the stats on NFL.com So where are all these extra fumbles exactly? Seems to me that the rate is just about the same as other years. (And WAY better than 2013) Am I reading things wrong?
