He adds that Moss doesn’t always play 100 percent, and it was noticeable from his body language in the second half - after Revis went out - that the then-Patriots receiver wasn’t giving a full effort.



I know Revis is supposed to be a shut down corner, and all...but he has also gotta be one of the DUMBEST people on the face of the Earth.

Two things:

1. If Moss had the brakes on, he was able to somehow grab a one-handed TD on revis, as the cornerback pulled a hamstring and has yet to return to the field.

2. You are about to play this guy on Monday night, why on Earth would you want to give him any reason to blow by you again?



Oh wait...I forgot who Revis' coach is...I understand this now.

Revis said he put his foot on the brakes in the 2nd half. Revis didn't play in the second half so Moss was slacking against Cromartie and that was evident..Moss 100% effort kills Cromartie any day of the week

I don't doubt it. With the reports that have surfaced in the last 24 hours, this would pretty much be par for the course. He wanted off the team by any means necessary and the only accomplishment that he seemed interested in was beating Revis. After he did that, he could basically shut it down. Of course, it doesn't help that the passes to him were horrible either.

I might squeeze into my wife's Moss jersey Monday night. I want to see him permanently sink Revis Island.

I disagree. It is difficult to beat one of the most athletic defenders in the league when you are only running the sidelines. Moss looked like he was giving effort, all well being held on almost every play by a CB that is 6'2 and can run every bit as fast as him.

I saw what Revis saw. Since rewatching the game, I have been saying Moss didnt go all out on the deep Int...he had Cromartie even while Cromartie was turning his hps, and Cromartie beat im by a long way to the ball, and on the other tipped one Moss could have easily caught the ball if he gave a 2 handed effort.
Frankly, the Moss of 07-09 will be missed, the Moss Ive seen this year was a real enigma for Brady to deal with. It has to be hard to have a guy you used to think couldnt be covered who now, at least at times makes it easy oin the D to stick with him.
