Whoa! Let's not get carried away with the recent success of Samuel.

#93, and #50 have been doing it at the highest level for 6 years. (#54 has dropped off a bit this year, due to the arm injury)

Perhaps saying "Samuel is the best CORNERBACK for the Patriots" would be more realistic.

Granted Asante has been good the last few years...this IS a contract year. And everyone knows how that goes. He can intercept but he can be burned. Amazing how much he emulates his coach Otis "My Man" Smith.

Great point! I forgot that Otis joined the coaching intern program with the Pats this year.

Perhaps, but if you lead or tie for the most passes defensed 11 times in a 16 game season, somebody on the other side thinks you can be picked on...
