Wish I were as optimistic as most, but I just have this strong, admittedly irrational hunch that a key player or two will get injured and change the course of the game (we have a lot of candidates for re-injury), which will be just too much too overcome, leading my mind back to the tragic and rather flippant loss in Miami that would have made this game a no-brainer.

Broncos 24
Patriots 20

Soooo hope I'm wrong and then everyone can mock me afterwards, as I'll happily accept it.

Signed,
A usually optimistic Pats fan who believes Belichick made the strategic mistake of a lifetime by treating the Miami game like a scrimmage
I predicted us blowing them out in this thread 45-7, but I must admit that I have sick feeling that you are right. Win or not, the strategy at the end of the season was stupid.

I like the odds that you are going to be wrong!!!!

Pats 26
Broncos 13

27-24 Pats

I'll leave the official tally to Alamo

But, by my count, congratulations are due to Ned Starks, who came in one point better than dtbrks and four points better than me.

Impressive, Ned. You built a lead and tenaciously held onto it, like the Broncos today.

I'll take consolation from the fact that, over 18 games, only one point separate dtbrks and only four points separated me from the leader.

Well done, Ned!

But, we'll see you next year!!!

And, thanks, as always to Alamo.
