    I'll say 31-17 Pats.

NE will be rusty early on and hold a 14-7 halftime lead, but KC will self-destruct in the second half

Your going to have to wait until next week to do the official "guess the score". I wouldn't mind seeing last seasons results.

So I guess it won't hurt to do the unofficial right now.

    Patriots 27

    Chiefs 10

Herm Edwards runs the ball like there is no tomorrow even when his team is trailing. That will limit Patriot possesions so that's why I chose that score.

ALSO: Miami will beat the NY Jets week one........Pennington will get his payback early.

    Pats 23
    KC 13

And that's being generous to KC . I really think we flip the switch and the defense gives up one TD, at most. Possibly less.

Light is held out, Welker is a bit nicked up and off his game, and Brady is a tad rusty, yielding two touchdowns and three field goals.

Game 1 is really week 2 vs the Jets. KC is a regular season warm up.

I'm mildly concerned about the Pats run defense. I think offense might be a little rusty and make this one closer than it should be. I'm saying.....24-17 Pats, of course.

    My unofficial prediction is....

    Pats 31

    KC - 10

Based on this fact from PFT...I changed it to 38-10....

    CHIEFS ADD FEELY

"With the Dolphins last season, Feely had a good year on field goals, making 21 of 23 with a long of 53 yards. But he was weak on kickoffs, with just eight touchbacks on 66 kicks."

    NE 20
    KC 13

I'll even be so bold as to predict NE trails in the second half.

I'll guess 38-20 pats, with TB throwing a surprising pick-6 to Flowers.
