Now for the NFC:
1. Seattle - The Seahawks aren't very flashy, but they're just too rock solid to pick against in most games. They're simply just better than pretty much all the other teams in the playoffs. I'd pick them over CAR, NO, and SF, and they'd probably beat the Eagles too. I think the team with the best shot at knocking them off is Green Bay, which I'll explain soon.
2. Carolina - I don't trust Cam Newton in the playoffs. He hasn't proven to crumble in the postseason, but he also hasn't proven that he can step up. This team just underwhelms me for a 2 seed and they really strike me as a one and done team. It could go either way against PHI, SF, and NO, but I would pick against them if they faced SEA or GB.
3. Philadelphia - I think the Eagles will either go one and done or go very deep in the playoffs. Not much other analysis to give, but I feel that it could only go one of those two routes.
4. Green Bay - People are acting like the Packers backed into the playoffs and that they're much worse than the other teams because of their record. Is it really that hard to comprehend that most of their losses are entirely because of Aaron Rodgers's absence? I'd pick them against CAR, PHI, SF, and NO, and I'd also give them a very good shot--51% chance--of beating Seattle. It just sets up perfectly for them to avenge the Fail Mary, and Rodgers is a good road QB in the playoffs. The Packers seem to win most when they're underdogs.
5. San Francisco - The 49ers are really talented and on a hot streak, but I don't know how to feel about Kaepernick. He doesn't seem like a choker, but he also doesn't seem too clutch. I think they'll be competitive in every game because of the talent but eventually fall short to a team with more heart.
6. New Orleans - The 6 seed is the last thing the Saints needed. They might beat Philly, but they won't make it past Seattle anyway.
