I am going to say 12 carries for 27 yards.

I wonder if this is the week LM gets an opportunity to showcase his speed via screen passes or 5 yard open flat catches and yac. Worth a try IMO.

    Thoughts?

    9 Carries: 21 Yards / 1 Reception: 6 Yards

*Just dropped him today from one of my fantasy teams, thanks for the whopping 8 points on the year so far...

    Maroney's skills are :rip:

Only if SD's pass rush is bad enough that a RB doesn't have to stay home and block and only if Cassel can effectively read blitz formations and audible LoMo to go out as a receiver. IMO, maybe a few screens, but that's it.

Depends on the status of Jordan

If Jordan is good to go then Maroney probably has 5 carries for 16 yards
No Jordan = Maroney 11 carries for 40 yards

Just an FYI.... both Jordan and Maroney are listed on the participation report.

Also, does anyone know if Maroney's problem is with the same shoulder he had surgery/rehab on? I can't remember which that was.

Good news. That means that he's probably going to have a 100+ yard performance this weekend.

That will happen as likely as Cassel with 27-32,389 yards,5 TDs ;)

I'll be optimistic and say Maroney cracks 50 yards. A TD would be gravy. The SD defense hasn't looked 'special' this year so I don't think they'll be shutting down our run game. Maroney will be platooning though, even if healthy.

Ventrone with 4 catches, 131 yards and 3 TDs.
Jonathan Wilhite with 3 INTs, 2 for TDs.
    Shawn Crable with 5 sacks.

Chargers run defense has looked like crap all year (and in last year's AFCCG, remember the 9 minute drive?). If they give the ball to Maroney I predict big things.
