Who the he11 is Mohoney?

Hey Kool-Aid!

Mahoney is Maroney. I think some guys here are starting to man-love him a little too much (Ma honey?)

Maroney's also next year's story, in terms of the featured back, UNLESS Dillon is clearly permanently damaged. He'll get the spot duty this year, barring lasting injury (or new injury) to CD. Bear in mind, Maroney has a ton of potential and we all want to see what he's got. Dillon has an NFL career behind him, and is two years removed from a 1600 yard season in which his clock killing powers were key to a super bowl appearance and victory.

He's still here guys... and that's a nice problem to have.

As of today my picks are...

AFC Division winners:
Pats
Dolts
Cinci
Denver

Wild Cards: KC & Pittsburgh

NFC Division Winners:
Seattle
Carolina
Chicago
Giants

Wild Cards: Dallas & TB

Super Bowl 41: Pats beat Carolina 31-30.

My preliminary shot:
AFC
East: Pats dominate
North: Ravens get McNair
WC: Steelers down year but Roethlesberger carries them
South: Jags ready for next step
West: Chiefs defense improves, Herm prepares for playoff choke
WC: Raiders rejuvenated by Art Shell, A. Brooks and tougher defense

Additional Notes: Miami takes step back, Indy has no James and no defense, Palmer done for year, Shanny pops a vein, Rivers not ready.

NFC
East: Giants on year 3 of Coughlin plan
North: Chicago toughest team in division, with QB situation improved
South: Bucs blossom behind Sims and Cadillac
WC: Carolina always solid
WC: Atlanta- blew the playoffs in '05 on defense, not because of Vick.
West: Seahawks head and shoulders above the rest

Additional Notes: Bledsoe and Brunell both go down, Dallas and Wash screwed. McNabb can't handle tougher NFC East defenses, Arizona and NO on the rise but fall short.

Mohoney is some player on another team. MAHONEY is our first round draft pick. How soon you forgot..................................

Maroney.

Just think of the angel Moroni, of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) fame, and spell it different.

Maroney. Maroney. Maroney.

Learn it now. You'll be hearing it for a few years.
