Patriots | Team works out Testaverde
Tue, 26 Sep 2006 17:57:01 -0700

Tom Curran, of NBCSports.com, reports the New England Patriots worked out free agent QB Vinny Testaverde (Jets) Tuesday, Sept. 26.

Yup, he's being considered for QB coach and is competing with #3 QB - WR Troy Brown.

I'd give it to Troy--faster hand-offs.:D

Boy, I got worried when I read the title of this thread. I thought Eugene Chung was back cause we're going to China next season. :D

Maybe they can sign Timmy Chang, the QB from Hawaii who broke Detmer's college passing record. We need a 3rd QB anyways.

Testeverde has great knowledge to share for sure. That's the one aspect of McDaniels job where I think a seperate QB coach/sounding board would be good for Brady...I hope he gets signed. It would be good for Cassell also.

Are they really looking at bringing him in as QB Coach?.

Eugene Chung, Tommy Chang...

The way this team is playing heading into Cincy, they should sign Cheech and Chong!

At least they'd be "loose" for the game!
