Last season did the red jerseys for me. Red jerseys = missed tackles, lost receivers, purposeless three-and-outs.

Awesome! This syncs up well with an item I read last week on Uni Watch:

NFL News: A little birdie who’s in a position to know sent me some NFL tips the other day. I can’t confirm any of it, but I feel the info is solid enough to pass along, with the proviso that it’s all subject to change:

I got a memo mentioning new third jerseys for the Packers and Colts. The memo also mentioned “updated” third jerseys for the Cardinals, Eagles, Patriots, and one other team (I think it was the Bears, but I’m not positive).

Yeah, I mean that 59-0. Loads of 3 and outs.

And those passing yards by the Titans. Way too good.

We went 2-1 in the Red.

We weren't even supposed to wear red against Miami in the first place.

What is it about red anyway? It makes no sense at all for a team with a Patriots motif to wear that color. The f*cking enemy, the REDcoats, wore red. The Colonial Army wore blue.

Yes...we all know the British soldiers of the 1700's wore the red....but the Patriots of those days also didn't wear cleats and facemasks. I always liked the red and would love to see a red version of the current.
