At least they're not 10+ point favorites. That's the kiss of death.

I was a little surprised that it was that high. I was expecting 7.5. O/U Total is 45.

I expect it will drop a bit within the next week.

I don't know if it will drop. Sanchez looked really bad tonight. He hates playing in the cold, and they got spanked a month ago here. Plus, if we can get the d line a bit healthier, we aren't going to be pushed around like the colts.

The point line very rarely moves, if it does, its not by much. What moves is the money line or the vig.

Huh? Lines move all the time. If it is a key # such as 3, 6, 7 or 10 then yes, the juice moves first but heavy one sided action will move the line off of even those #s.

I tried to keep it short, bad idea. There are a lot of extenuating circumstances, but in the playoffs it has to be really one sided to move the point more that 1 or 1 1/2. I work in a casino and the explaination is long and boring. In short, don't expect the point to adjust much.

    Sorry about any spelling errors

I mean, it happens more than your post would apply.

I believe the Pats/Giants SB fell all the way from -14 to -11

this week the line on the Chiefs opened at +1 +115 (at Pinnacle) and has fallen all the way to +3 +104

I got Jets +2.5 -110 earlier this week, by kickoff last night it went to +2 -110

I think the Eagles/Packers game has moved by 2 points as well
sure lines don't normally move more than 1.5 or so, but thats true in the regular season as well

    #12 Jersey

I did the last trap game thread. You should do this. Then I'll do the AFCCG and you can have the Super Bowl Trap Game thread.

Two dogs won outright yesterday. I'm parlaying the Chiefs and Packers moneylines which pays +460.

Wish I had gotten on the Seahawks ML yesterday but I heard too much about how severely Seattle was outmatched and only took the points.

Anyone see any props that they like?

    AHAHAHA.

This game should have been billed as "A Comedy of Errors."
    The Chiefs have self-imploded.
I expected the Ravens to win, but I didn't think it would be this ugly for KC.

The only concern I have with the Jets: can their run game keep Brady off the field. The Patriots defense will need to stop the Jets on third downs.

I think it's about right. That means they'd be favored by 3 in New York.

I admit I don't watch all the lines, I just watch the few I'm interested in, waiting to get a favorable spread. In those cases the point line generaly doesn't move much, that I see anyway. I could be wrong
