Eisen is just jealous because he can't get a good look at Brady in the showers.

It's hilarious that they NEVER mention the fact that your shadow can't even be anywhere near a Colts receiver without pass interference getting called. Absolutely hilarious. Brady should start doing some funny MasterCard commercials then maybe the media will wash his balls as much as they do Manning's. Also, nevermind the fact that Brady has been the recipient of helmet-to-helmet hits that do not get anywhere close to being called week after week since that game. God I hate the media with a passion.

they should start complaining about the calls the colts always receive. there was a pass interference called on the Texans today for about a 40 yard play where the texan defender played perfect D.

Manning got some ticky tack roughing the passer calls as well. i.e. When he was hit as he released the ball.

Yeah, the Colt WR thing has gotten outrageous. Heck, even Dungy admitted that call sucked. Also, regarding Brady asking for flags these announcers need to look at WR these days who are constantly begging, a heck of a lot more than Tommy.

Re: Rich Eisen on the last hit on jason campbell

My Dad is a Vikings fan so he couldn't care less about the Colts or Texans. He calls me today and says "My God these refs must have Peyton Manning Jerseys under their uniforms"

I'm glad other fans are noticing, not just the ones that get slighted by the bias

What we all need to come to terms with is that the media is comprised mostly of retards, and the football media is the dumbest of the dumb. These aren't intelligent people, and even among this group (the stupidest of the stupid), Rich Eisen is notably stupid.

And quite possibly a closet homosexual, IMO. And no, I don't really care if that gets me in trouble with the PC crowd.

People like him in the media are the reason why I abandoned a Mass Communications degree and instead began to go after a business degree.

Re: Rich Eisen on the last hit on jason campbell

I'm convinced at this point that they're instructed by the league to bash the Patriots and praise the Colts, I don't care how tin foil hat that sounds it is beyond ridiculous that the Patriots do things that every team in the league does and they get singled out where as NO ONE gets the PI calls that the Colts get and it is never brought up.

I can't take any hypothetical that replaces Jason Campbell with Tom Brady seriously. If Tom Brady was in there, he would have gotten the first down anyway, and they probably wouldn't have blown the lead like they did.

    +1. ;)

Eisen making this remark really doesn't bother me. He's always being a wiseacre, and I don't see this as being a bash as much as if BSPN had said it. But that's just me.

Re: Rich Eisen on the last hit on jason campbell

If ANYONE is again complaining about Brady and how he supposedly baited teh refs in teh Baltimore game..then one should LOOK at how the Colts players were waving their arms and in the official's faces on the Faulk one yard short fourth down play. THAT was truly disgusting and I believe they intimidated teh officals into that WRONG call. Si Eisen and some of these pansy commentators need to call it like it is and STOP protecting Manning and the Colts!! They get the calls ALL the time..and one would THINK if it was all legitimate it would go 50-50...BUT Polian and his elk ALWAYS get the calls. It is to the point where it looks fishy and stinks..but these gutless ones look the other way ALL the time.

And the Redskins would be leading that division. Their major problem is at QB, whether the media wants to acknowledge that or not.

Re: Rich Eisen on the last hit on jason campbell

Do you guys think guys like Brady and Manning don't get favorable calls?

Do you think that #23 for the Bulls didn't get favorable calls? Lebron now?

Do you not think Roger Clemens gets more of the corners then most pitchers?

It happens, there is that earned respect. I didn't see the hit in question so I can't comment on that. However I can comment on the fact that You all would be loving it if he said 18 and not 12 even though in this argument they are interchangable.

Re: Rich Eisen on the last hit on jason campbell

Of course they get favorable calls, and of course they both ask for flags. You show me a hall of fame player in any sport and I'll show you a guy who tried to manipulate the refs, they all do it. The point is that they continually bash Brady and the Pats in the media for these things and never mention that the Colts get countless BS pass interference calls that change the outcome of games.

I agree, but it irritates me that literally every time a QB gets hit now, I have to hear some variation of "Tom Brady would have got that call!" Of course, these are the same people who think that it's only been illegal to hit a QB below the knee since the beginning of the season, due to Brady's injury (I guess they have no idea what the Brady Rule actually is, or that hitting QBs below the knee has been illegal since well before Brady was even in the NFL). Favorable calls happen, but if this has been taken to such an extreme since the Baltimore game that it's kinda ridiculous.

Re: Rich Eisen on the last hit on jason campbell

No kidding. One isolated incident has turned into "Brady and the Pats get every flag." Even though the stats say otherwise, we apparently lead the league in getting roughing the passer calls, otherwise they're just talking out of their asses and I know they'd never do that, would they?
