Sheppard Signs With Rosenhaus

Profootballtalk.com just reported that Lito Sheppard has signed with Drew Rosenhaus.
Of course Rosenhaus was Terrell Owens' agent during the debacle of 2005, which saw the Eagles suspend the star receiver for nearly the last half of the season.
I'm sure the Eagles and Rsenhaus don't want the situation to spiral out of control like the Owens situation did.
Sheppard is one of the three starting cornerbacks currently on the Eagles roster. Asante Samuel who just signed the mega contract, Sheldon Brown who has played opposite Sheppard since they took over for Troy Vincent and Bobby Taylor, and number 26 himself are the trio set to head to training camp next week.
Sheppard is scheduled to make about $2 million this year.
I think the Eagles are fortunate that Sheppard is the type of person who create such a poisonous atmosphere in the lockeroom like Owens.
I say that but still am very sure that he wants a new contract.
Remember that Eagles President Joe Banner blamed Rosenhaus for the Eagles losing Donte Stallworth to the New England Patriots a year ago. Hopefully there won't be any bad blood between Banner and Rosenhaus.
