Funny that apparently he needed to add more clarity about their meeting:

That he would even bother to comment on it speaks volumes.

Yea I heard about this and thought of it as nothing. No big deal.

So Tanny sought out PM for his perspective on Case's offense. Seeing it thru the eyes of a QB is different.

So what?

Manning: "So basically, what you wanna do Ryan is flap your arms around a lot, pretend to be humble, chuck a lot of ducks to your all pro wide receivers, and hope they can do something with it to make you look good."

Tannehill: "I don't have all pro wide receivers."

Manning: "Doesn't matter, just let the defense carry you to the Super Bowl then."

Tannehill: "My defense isn't that great either."

Manning: "Oh... then you're screwed. Any chance your wife has an "illness" that requires HGH?"

Was Peyton in Florida destroying more medical records and decided to stop by?
More probable than not Tannehill was asking Manning if he was generally aware what substance he could procure for his wife to help improve her performance.

You're forgetting "When everything is going well, I find it good to accept all the praise without qualification or deferring any to my teammates. When it's not working, just give an interview throwing the kicker under the bus or calling our your OL for protection problems. If there's something going on that doesn't help me be the best I can be, I just have the league change the rules."
