Curry is the best player in the game right now, IMHO. He does things I have literally never seen before. Injuries, especially to the knees and ankles, will be something to watch as his career goes on. If healthy, I don't see an offensive record, other than offensive rebounds, that this guy can't break.
If Curry were just coming out of high school or even college, I'd agree with you 100 percent. Instead, Curry (28) is only 3 years younger than LBJ (31), so I can't fathom how he can realistically break most of the offensive records that have been standing after so many other great players. Just my opinion. Like I said, if he were 20, 21, 22, or even 23, I'd agree without a doubt.
I do think that he's likely the best player in the game right now, but that 3 year difference is really aiding him when attempting to choose him over the much more well-rounded LBJ. From a pure shooting standpoint, I don't think anyone's better than Curry right now, but if they're both the same age etc, I'm taking LBJ.
