He put up 32+ in 5/6 games, with a multitude of triple doubles spread throughout the series. Give me a break.

You may not like him and that's understandable, but your argument is flawed to say the least. It's basically ridiculous.

That's one series......

To this day that was one of the worst trades in Boston sports history.

Par for the course for the Bruins. Trade away franchise players for good players.

Tyler Seguin trade is looking to be just as bad right now.

Sad to think it was around 5 years ago that it looked like the Bruins were going to be a force for years. They had just won the cup. And had up incomers like Rask, Seguin and Hamilton.

What a disaster.

Now the Sox have arguably the best group of young bats we've ever seen, lol

Agreed. DAL should have done a little better this year in he postseason but Tyler with the bad Achilles was in no condition to help.

Hamilton just didn't want to be here but I don't think the B's tried hard to make him comfortable.

They don't have a goalscorer and their blueline in dearth of top talent. They have $20m in cap space for 2016 and spend it on a 3rd line defenseman in Miller. So frustrating.

They keep Eriksson who skates like he is stuck in pond muck. They need to find a way to move Chara and Krejci as they are aging faster than Benjamin Button.

I have no issue with Julian but they need players for his system.

I am loving that team right now. So great to actually enjoy plopping on the couch and watching a few innings and actually be entertained.

I think Julians time has come and gone already. His last 3 seasons resulted in the B's missing the playoffs twice, and a choke job first round exit.

The fact that he couldn't make it work with a player like Seguin (and to a lesser extent Kessell) is a major flaw in my eyes.

I am honestly wondering if you have ever watched the sport of basketball in your life.

Any human being that looks at the above stats and says "He needs to do more" needs drug tested.
Didn't he shoot like 30 something percent?

I get where you're coming from due to a losing record in the finals etc, but it also says a lot when you can take your teams to the last round 6 yrs in a row.

He proved to me that he can still strap a team on his back and stay highly competitive with the losses to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love last June. He did that by himself, man, and came damn close to pulling it off. They had a 2-1 lead after three.

Actually they lost in the 2nd rd in 2014. It happens...in 2015 they had too many greenhorns on the blueline and not enough depth.

They didnt have the talent these last 2 years. Their GMs deserve the lions share of the blame. Last two years they stunk in goal and on the back end. In 2014 MTL was a better, tougher club with more grit. When you dump

They won a cup w/o Kessel. I have my issues with him and rightfully so.

Seguin and Hamilton... I have a big issue with the team doing what they did.

Julian treats players like men. He doesn't treat them like kids. Hes a tough love old school hockey coach. You may be right that his time has come but I'm not there yet.

I think you are overstating the 'stops" on Parker. #1 he was injured. #2 Part of the reason why LeBron need to D up on Parke is that between DWade and Chalmers their on the ball defense at G was brutal. If you watch him, he was not in his shirt but rather he played off him a couple feet. What he did do was because of his quickness and length, widen the passing lanes. This forced guys like Leonard, Ginobli, etc to catch at say 22 ft as opposed to 18.

If you are 6-8 ish will good speed, quickness, fundamentals, can jump and understand the scheme you can guard anyone for a reasonable amount of time until the matchup is exploited. LeBron certainly falls in that category but to what you just said he is nowhere in the neighborhood of guys like Rodman or Metta World...

Obviously, LeBron had to play off him, the point is, he was a better cover option than reasonably athletic guards. Parker was torching the Heat that series.

As for Rodman and Metta, I mean, those guys were free to spend 100% of their energy on defense. Same with Tony Allen, for example, Michael Cooper, and many other great defensive specialists of the past. The thing that makes LeBron so special is that he carries the load in many games on offense AND defense.

40 percent for the series--technically 39.8.

It was the same as Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, who were considered to have good series'.

For comparison's sake, LBJ shot 40 percent and Curry shot 44 percent.

Agreed. Spolestra had no choice. Plus it saved LBJ from a pounding in the paint and got him on the fast break quicker.

Artest was a 18-20ppg scorer in his prime and won a DPOY so lets not sell him short. Keep in mind Leonard, Pippen and Jordan were also elite defenders who also played both ends of the floor. As a defender I don't think LBJ is in that company but his ability to play solid D and put up 26/8/6 a night gets major props from me.

At the end of the day he is a very good defender despite what people say. I just take exception that he can guard 1-5 at a high level and is a lock down defender. He just isn't IMO.

Anybody can lose a series.

Call me when he carries a team to WIN a title.

He's had the best team in the East since he joined Miami, and it's not close

I think that is unrealistic.

I've been vocal on my dislike of LBJ but even the greats can't single handily will their team to a title w/o a solid supporting cast .

Then he's no better......

Like I said, Making the finals from the east w his teams the last 6 years isn't impressive. It would be hugely disappointing if he couldn't. The east sucks

The point is that it doesnt matter how great you are. It matters how great you are and how good your 2nd and 3rd options are.

Ok but he faced better teams in the west and better teams in the east except for that crap Magic team in 2009

Making it to the finals is different that performing in the finals
