From today's Detroit Free Press

Martz said right guard Damien Woody was "just outstanding. Of all the players on offense right now, he's probably had the best camp of everybody."

Woody was the man!

If only he could shotgun snap...

He doesn't need to anymore, he's a Guard.

He's got his weight under control?

he was the best Lions OL last year..very consistent and was the leader there.

Actually I think alot of people would argue that Raiola was their best O lineman.

Evidentally he does if they're speaking so highly of him.

Regardless of weather Woody was the Lions best OL player or not. A 9 million dollar bonus is a ton of money for an interior OL player not named Hutchinson. (We'll see the real Alexander this season.)

Kazcur vs Woody and his huge cap hit. If Kazcur recovers from his shoulder surgery, that would be an easy choice.

I am really concerned who the best player on the Lions is. Really, I wouldn't just say that.

It's just a discussion, no need to be a smarta$$.

If you think that's being a smartass you don't know me.

IMO we have serious issues at linebacker and maybe WR.

And you expect me to worry whether Woody has stopped living at the home of the whopper.

Since when does one reporters puff piece mean anything anyway? Half of that stuff is just planted by agents.

You don't care, that's fine, just move along. I for one would rather discuss this than Bruschi's wrist or Brady's whatever for the 1,000th. time.

You might try this site for more discussion of your hero.

They must not have a conditioning drill there.:)

I don't recall saying he was my hero. The only thing I recall saying is that I didn't think he was the best O lineman on their team. Whatever suits you though.

well then explain why. ask a lot of Lion fans and they said he was only 1 doing what hes supposed to each week
