Why are the eagles trying to move him? Isn't he supposed to be the nose tackle in their 3-4?

Didn't take long for his wikipedia page to change. It now lists the Patriots as his current team.

Typical Belichick signing. Low risk. Low cost. Older vet who isn't really a "name" at the moment.

I don't know the full details of his contract but 3m plus per year over next two years is quite high. Don't know if he's cuttable or not after this year.

I'm still curious as to why the Iggles were basically giving away a player that they picked up this offsesaon and was supposed to have a big role in their new defense.

Also I hope this move doesn't stunt the growth of Chris Jones whose snaps will diminish since I assume Kelly and Sopoaga will be the starters.
