Hopefully, next year we won't be saying "I see nothing, NOTHING!"I think Hogan will be a Hero to all of his fans.

Plus, they know who their AFCE daddy is.Supposedly they didn't do that out of respect for Hogan.. Which speaks volumes about the Bills front office..
Awesome. Calling it right now, he's going to be an excellent Patriot. We got him cheap for this WR market, and in a couple years we'll be looking back on him as a total steal. He's a great fit here.
Sanu has worse stats and got five years with twice the AAV, im sorry not every guy can get the veterans minimum. Not surprised one bit. Bills are probably LFTAO at that offer....
slot type guy who can also play a bit outside but has issues holding onto the ball, he will fit right inBill fans will remember this day when Rex Ryan is fired.
Hogan, on paper, is the WR I've always wanted to see in New England. Big, quick, fast, smart, lunch pail kind of guy. I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up a YUGE cog in this offense.
I hope so! Could he win a race against one of my people???

yeah I know, it was just a joke. Hopefully he can take over that role Lafell had in 14 and was supposed to have in 15.He played 50% of his reps outside. That's more than "can also play a bit outside".
Can we trade Lewis for woodhead? Jk but if shaq mason and Lewis ever get subbed out you will have 10 whiteguys and a guy named white on offenseWe have now cornered the market on white receivers.
When we break the scoring record next year, the nickname for our offense will be "White Lightning"
Watching some clips of Hogan he reminds me of Miles Austin, another Monmouth WR.
Hogan recorded five dropped passes out of a total of 41 catchable balls thrown his way in 2015, according to Pro Football Focus. That's a 12.2 percent drop rate. He also averaged 3.0 yards after the catch in 2015, which ranked near the bottom of the league in terms of receivers who played at least 25 percent of their teams' snaps. Hogan would have ranked fifth on the Patriots in that category last season behind Brandon LaFell (6.4), Julian Edelman (5.2), Danny Amendola (4.0) and Keshawn Martin (3.1).

Seems like he is a a straight up Lafell replacement so imagine they are done with WRs. Wouldn't be surprised to see them bring Gibson back to camp as he was looking good pre-injury.
I love the difference in cap philosophy highlighted by this signing.
The reason the Bills couldn't keep their up and coming RFA was because they're tight against the cap, after seriously overspending in Free Agency in the last few years, for an underperforming DL, a TE that amounted to Meh, and assorted big-name bits that played way below their salaries.
So, their homegrown kid, who was new to football when he first came into the league, but was flashing the potential to outplay a number of Buffalo's early round draft picks at WR, comes to the Patriots for his prime years. It's another case where by Week 10, fans from opposing teams will say, "how do they keep finding these guys?"
The Pats, on the other hand, spend their cap space on team depth and underappreciated players coming into their prime. And they get criticized during Free Agency for "being so passive". Doesn't seem passive to me... just seems like they have a different idea of what value looks like.
