Bad news. Doesn't fit the rules of a haiku. Back to the drawing board.
Haiku" is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines rarely rhyme.
I think this is an embryonic form of a limerick that is missing the third and fourth lines. Since I didn't win the official contest, I can't have a fully-formed poem, but this is an amazing consolation prize.
He did it for the halibut, these jokes are giving me a haddock.A Codfather.
When people talk about learning disabilities, I swear to God when it comes to anything to do with art, poetry , etc I am mentally challenged.
It would take me hours to create a poem based on Haiku format.
Really good special teams player. Broke his foot I believe toward the end of the season last year.
