Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

Bradley's the best player still on the board, for NE.

Indeed he is. I'll be mighty bummed if he's there and they pass on him.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

If we can't get bush, i wouldn't mind seeing us take siler...i think BB could be creative with him

Ravens take Yanda

Re: Official 2007 Patriots Draft Thread

BB stirred the pot thoroughly. The Pats now have Five Day One picks in 2008 to warm the avaricious hearts of those desiring to move picks forward. The Pats begin Day Two with Nine picks to play with.

My draft "needs" were partially addressed with the drafting of Brandon Meriweather in round one. At the moment I see him helping both CB and S depth concerns. Going into Day Two I have the same draft "needs" to address.

Is Bush going to go undrafted?

Whats the latest on the injury?

Must be bad right?

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

The Eagles have 2 picks b4 us.. what do they need??
Before the draft I think their needs were DB, DE & WR

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

We came into this draft with 10 picks. We traded our 28th pick away but got an extra 4th round pick. Barring a trade we will pick in this round and we will have 8 picks tomorrow. 4 of them we can't trade. Not to mention the UDFAs that we might sign after the draft tomorrow. How many of these rookies will make this team? How many roster spots are available? Just relax and enjoy the draft.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

Siler then.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

I really thought Bradley would go late second. Wendling, Gattis, Hughes, Pittman, hunt, and some others are all good players. I have a feeling NE going to get a good player here.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

Tanard Jackson is still available if we're focusing on addressing the secondary today.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

Who's next:

Siler? Bush? Sepulveda?

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

I'm getting some weird DeOssie vibes right about now...

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 3rd Round Discussion

It must be that Belichick doens't like drafting LBs as they prob. won't be able to learn his system.

Bradley was expected to go in the 2nd, so if BB didn't trade up for him in this round...then maybe he wasn't going to pick him anyway. The 6th round pick would have moved them up 12-15 spaces or so pretty easily, I'd think.

I'm a little concerned that there aren't a whole lot of good CBs left.

Oh well. Bush would be good. His broken leg is supposed to be 100%...eventually. From what I've heard.
