Pats are 2/5 for the SB and 2/7 for the AFCCG.

I believe this means that for every $5 you bet on the pats to win the SB, you would win $2.

I'm no expert either, but his interpretation of 2/5 is correct.

2/5! Are you ****ting me? I believe they are a great team, but the Pats odds are 11.25 times better than the Colts, for example. Unprecedented.

No offense, but Bodog is for suckers. If you want to bet $20 for fun then its fine but if you want wager seriously and regularly there are plenty of much better sportsbooks.

Its like playing blackjack in the party pit where they only pay you 6/5 instead of 3/2.

Technically, you either lose 10 or make $990. The payout's $1000, but you put in the original $10.

If you risk $10 on a 100-1 payout, your 'to-win' is $1000, your original $10 stake is returned to you if it the bet is graded a winner.

Also, you can find Pats -136 to win Super Bowl at other sites.

What this means is if you wager $100, you win $73.53 plus your original $100 back.

Here's a helpful online payout odds calculator for anyone interested.

very interesting that the pats are more favored to win the superbowl than they are to get there. shows what a travesty the nfc is
