Yeah those poor suckers from Colorado.

It never snows nor is it ever cold in Denver

Re: Snow showers during Saturdays game against the Tebows

I see snow showers listed for tomorrow night...I can't find any listed for Saturday.

Am I just missing it?

Uhhh, what?

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 31. West wind between 14 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 9. Northwest wind between 10 and 17 mph.

That's from the NOAA, which is generally more reliable than weather.com.

Re: Snow showers during Saturdays game against the Tebows

This forecast has been going back and forth between clear and partly cloudy today. Pretty cold, with some wind (10-12 mph) seems more likely than snow. I also checked out the Channel 4 and 7 sites and only 4 mentions possibility of some flurries.

More NFL weather.

I am not seeing snow on the forecast either unfortunately.

I am, however, seeing wind.

Tebow, you can kiss your long ball goodbye. :X

Reminds me of last year when we played Chicago in Chicago. I was watching the Chicago fox Sports channel, and their local sports show had a guy on there that said the snow definitely favors the Bears. I just shook my head laughing, and when one of his co-hosts pointed out that they were playing a team used to the snow, he said something like yeah but the snow is Bears weather.

That didn't hold up so well.

Those wobbly ducks will be blown all over the place. However, he does have the ability and arm strength to cut through the wind if he does get a tight spiral on the ball. Not something he does consistantly, but something he is capable of doing.

12 mph isn't much of a wind.

Saturday January 14
Partly cloudy skies with gusty winds. High 32F. Winds W at 20 to 30 mph.

I saw 19 with gusts up to 29mph. I just checked accuweather and they are saying 10mph with gusts up to 19mph. Guess we won't know until game time. But one thing they all agree on is the cold weather. Forgive my ignorance, but I have been told that Denver is more of a mild climate as far as cold weather climates goes. Where it will snow one day and then be in the 50's the next day. Is that accurate? How often does it get into the single digits or sub-zero there? And does it stay that cold for long durations?

I also wonder if Tebow has ever played a game in the single digits?

I think the big danger is the Denver running game anyway.

Didn't they put up 73 yards on the ground in the first quarter of the first matchup last month until McGahee got injured?

I wouldn't think Tebow's ducks are going to be a big thing unless their ground game fails, then its going to be a problem for Denver if that happens.

This game will probably be a close game if Denver runs the ball well or a blowout if they don't.

Partly cloudy skies with gusty winds. High 32F. Winds W at 20 to 30 mph.

That is for during the day. It seems they expect the wind to taper off some in the evening.

Yep, you're right. I forgot it was at night.

I find it kind of amusing that some Pats' fans are so jacked about the weather being a possible factor.

I'm jacked about any snow game just because I love watching snow games. Nothin' better!

Roll your eyes all you want, Tebow has played in very few cold weather games, playing in Florida, SEC and no brutal weather games in the pros. They said his disastrous game at Buffalo which was 30 degrees was the coldest he had ever played in. Whether that was technically true I don't know but this isn't like Brady showing up in New England having played at Michigan.
