No Shortage of Wide Receivers In Foxboro

No Shortage of Wide Receivers In Foxboro
By: Christine Roy

At this moment, the Patriots have 12, yes count them, 12 wide receivers on their roster. ...

12 receivers, yes count them 12, in training camp is not a big deal, in fact it's pretty standard practice to start training camp right around that number. Some years more than 12, some years less. Not sure what all the excitement is about.

Although I was relieved when the author assured us that "The Patriots cannot and will not keep all 12 on the roster", previously believing that all 12 would make it.

We had 11-12 at this point last year too I believe. People were saying how many we had then too.

I think opening day we will have these players on our 53 man roster.

Amendola
Dobson
Hawkins
Jones
Moe

These players on PUP.

Edelman
Boyce

And the rest of the players will be gone.

Did Boyce get hurt? Hmm. Rookies who initially get hurt in the first camp have a very LOW chance of success with the big club.
