you beat me to this one..I saw it amongst all the PSqd craziness and...well it's interesting that they have another pick...did not waste one.
 
So if my calculations are right, the Pats have a #1 (SF),#1,#2, #3 (Oak),#3,#4, #5,#6,#7... in 2008

Not anymore if we can't Franchise him - unless you mean during the season before the deadline but that's not happening.
 
The Pats may have released him to avoid the draft pick only to resign him later. I liked Wesley, I hope they find a way to get him back.

I agree, I wouldn't be shocked if they re-sign him if he doesn't sign, or get claimed, elsewhere.
