I may be misreading your post...but the Troy Brown strip was against the #1 seeded 14-2 San Diego Chargers of 2006.
Rivers hobbling to an inevitable loss in the AFCCG vs. the greatest team of all time was 2007.

I was not clear enough. I know it wasn't the same year. Juste trying to show that Rivers hasn't been "bad forever".

Why do people think there is
2 seed it is! we are really better off. I'm not afraid of Pitt but would rather face KC/Houston and let Denver have Pitt.

Are you kidding me? You would rather potentially have to travel to Denver rather than get two home playoff games?

Kansas City has won ten in a row...ten. You feel confident facing them?

I don't want Kansas City

Peyton forehead is a thing of beauty

Gates and Vernon Davis seem to be discussing whose QB lays them out more.

All winning streaks come to an end, especially double digit ones, and they come fast.

If we don't make the super bowl it won't be because we didn't have home field advantage. That's not an excuse to go to Denver and not win. If we lose the afc championship to Denver. That's a piss poor excuse and anyone who makes it is a clown

It is going to suck when the Pats have to go to Denver and the refs help Manning win and he gets a ring.

I hope the Pats coach staff will be happy with how they mismanaged the end of the schedule and lost two straight to end the year.

I love the Pats but I can't see the NFL letting New England beat Peyton in Denver.

Just can't let it come to that. Have to play A+ football so they force their hand. Good thing is Peyton Manning might be playing the next time they see them. A pick 6 waiting to happen.

Now I know how it MUST have been when Napoléon returned to Paris.

Dang, Peyton looks like an old man in this post game interview

He won't. The team cannot win there.

If I may ask, what about the Broncos scares you so much? I think they're a very good football team, but I don't get the crowd that wants to crawl into a hole in the ground at the thought of playing Denver.

Hahaha. He doesn't get credit for the win.

So in summary, Manning did essentially nothing when he played as every play Denver made was on the ground. The few times he threw he looked very similar to what he has been all season which is unable to consistently make the deep throw, unable to make any throws to the middle of the field because of the lack of velocity and only working the sidelines with comeback routes.

Dear Gary Kubiak, is this really worth sacrificing your offensive scheme over ?

Too bad that Denver has a BYE, it would have been lovely to see them struggle through a QB controversy + offensive adjustments in only a single week time.

Have fun getting smoked by Pittsburgh again... Their D isn't good but they are good enough to cover the shallow routes and make Peyton beat them deep (which he can't).
