Before anyone posts something to the effect of "LOL he's no Larry Fitzgerald, that's crazy" (because we all know someone will) - go back and read the quote. Saying that a player reminds you of someone else isn't the same as saying you expect him to be as good as that other guy.

Just a pet peeve - I hate how topics like this always get derailed by misunderstandings of the initial claim.

THe leagues official broadcaster spreads more misinformation than all of the other news/sports channels put together.

Its kind of sad that they get involved with this sort of BS.

I'm sure if Dobson only has 300 yards receiving his first year, fans will be screaming 'bust'. But receivers typically take 3 years to develop.

I'm sure if Dobson only has 300 yards receiving his first year, fans will be screaming 'bust'. But receivers typically take 3 years to develop.

You're severely underrating the impact Tim Tebow had on Thomas' numbers. He was extremely raw coming out of college, way more so than Dobson, but he's a freak athlete, who could've produced a lot more in his sophmore season had the Broncos had competent QB play.

Personally, I didn't like the Pick at all.

And I consider Cosell both vastly overrated and arrogant.

But there's nothing wrong with getting excited about the guy's Possibilities...which are tremendous.
