Simms made this point as we morphed into the early Green Bay Packers power game with out three tight end offense.

Greatest Show on turf? We do that! 49ers west coast offense? How about Kevin Faulk as Roger Craig?

The point is, we're not undefeated solely because of our high powered offense. When teams read the blueprint, we trot out a different building.

Any team can be defensed, we proved it against the Rams.

Teams learn and improve during the season and a lot came close.

Our ability to run a completely different offense and run it like it was our primary package, is what separates us from the rest.

Ted Cotrell said we have 7 different offenses which makes it so tough to prepare for, well that and the elite talent.

This was pretty much the point I made a few weeks back. If you watched each of the games the Patriots played in the second half of the season, it's like they were using the time to have live practice of different offensive styles more than worrying about doing whatever it took to win the game. Not in all cases, but a lot of the time it really looked like they didn't take their opponents seriously as anything more than someone to scrimmage against.

People were wondering why we were going 3 & 4-wide for entire games, executing only two planned rushing plays, or spending entire games running the ball (Jets). Well, now I think you see why.
