It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I was just listening to Mort's interview on Mike and Mike and he said the audio the Dolphins used wasn't network audio as they claimed it was. He contends sources have always claimed the Dolphins were using mic'd up defensive linemen to record Brady's audibles.....
I hate to break it to Mort, but mic'd up defensive linemen IS network audio.

Only if the network is miking them up.
They're not allowed to have video either. Who's saying the mics were league authorized, kind of the point you know.
Hence the second part of my post, Fixit.
"Teams aren't allowed to have recording devices on the field..."
Just like I find it laughable regarding the claims about the audio frequencies during the game. Those frequencies and the equipment are set up by LEAGUE officials. They aren't set up by the teams. And they are turned back into the league after each game. So that things like what the Jets claimed happen, can't happen.
Teams are also not allowed to have video playing equipment in the locker-room or in the coaches booth during the game.
This is what is so funny about the entire situation. Its nearly impossible to steal calls during a game with a video camera and have that information be usable for the same game.

I'm a Jets fan, but I stick up for Belichick most of the time, but he cheated AND he's guilty of hubris. There's no spinning it any other way.
I guess it depends what's on the tape. If the Patriots were just filming on the field, they violated league policy, if they were filming Jet coaches calling in the plays, they were cheating.
The NFL has the tape, so time will tell.

I'm sure that Mort was implying that what the Phins did was OK.
The Phins didn't get punished last year. The Pats shouldn't get punished this year. A warning, yes.
That's the point........ Sabin STOLE audio by miking his own defensive players (which there is no rule against) and recording audibles. He did not use bootleg Network sound. He made his own.
Same thing that the Patriots just did, except one difference, they've been specifically told not to do it. That is an league infraction and it will be punished.
BB is guilty of hubris possibly, but of cheating no
