Wilson is this team's best cover safety. His slipping today on that pass doesn't change that. He may not be back, but that doesn't change that fact. Now, if Meriweather develops, he may change that part of the equation, because he should develop that kind of coverage ability as well.

Interesting that Wilson seemed to be playing ahead of Sanders. (I infer this from when Rodney was yanked for a couple of plays late after the personal foul, and Sanders was sent in in his place.) Or was it more of a rotation? I guess we'll know after Reiss posts his numbers.
Wanted to make sure this wasn't lost in the mix. A bunch came on special teams. But this is a solid contribution by the rookie.
