Mankins' price just went up

Mankins is ok. Just ok. Certainly not top 3 guards in league. He whiffed on Justin Tuck just before halftime, who strip sacked Brady, as the Patriots were at about midfield and driving for at least a field goal in SB 42. if he thinks he's a top 3 talent he's sorely mistaken. He's inconsistent and overrated. Maybe from all the time he blocked Seymour in practice some of Seymour's entitlement mentality crept over to Mankins.

Before everyone gets their panties in a bunch, we need to find out what the real deal is. It is a seven year deal so that means the last 2-3 years are bogus just to allow the agent look good. The $19 million in the first year is a whole heck of a lot, but he only makes about $3 million ayear over the next two. What is he making in year's four or five. Does he have a balloon payment in year six?

Even with the facts we know, Evans is getting paid really, really well; but it may not be nearly as lucrative as it sounds.

so what do we say about brady and the plays he made more recently? like against the ravens.....is he OK, just OK?

you going to evaluate mankins on the basis of one play?

he's been to the probowl twice and hasn't missed a game in his career.

your logic is flawed
