interesting tidbit from Florio today, that Mack may want to backload a contract with Oakland so he gets paid the bulk of his money in two years when they team will be based in income tax free Nevada. Apparently Gruden back loaded his deal to take advantage of not paying the 13+% California income tax. That's a tax savings of @ 1.3 million a year (based on an annual salary of 10 mil) for Gruden. Smart move!
