There was a CB that intentionally stepped on Brady's throwing hand after a sack. You can be damn sure that he hasn't forgotten that.

I think that SD is the better team if the entire season is taken into consideration, but NE has been playing very well of late and I know that they are still upset about last year; both the hand stepping thing and the fact that they got their arses kicked.

look dude, i'll say this a million times this week... you ARE a great team and we MAY be the NEXT great team.

we've had a great run and the stats/records broken show it. no losses at home, Merriman's 17 sacks (missing 25% of the year), and of course, LT.

BUT... you guys are a fantastic team with a great QB and coach. we'll both have our hands full come game-time. i expect nothing less than a serious test for both clubs.

again, i didn't think he gave that as an interview response (since marty keeps 'em caged up) but obviously he said it...
