Jeff Howe @jeffphowe
Just got word on Jeff Demps: "Trade imminent
Jeff Demps...Trade Imminent
Per Jeff Howe on Twitter...
Can Mallett be far beyond? CLE has not drafted a quarterback.
And with our newly acquired 6th, the patriots pick?
Not for less than their next 5 first round picks /Patsfans.com
Maybe a combo with Demps so we can get their next 6 first round picks?
If Mallett doesnt get trade now, he never will... IMO
Maybe a #3 in 2014 and a 6th today?
35,000+ posts say that there is no other place you'd rather be (among other things....)
I thought it was the next 5 Full drafts plus first born
Millions of things in real life say otherwise, but that my post was a joke crossing over from another thread was understood by at least one responding poster.
You're not going to start trolling this early in the day, are you?
You love this place and you know it, sweetheart.
Don't worry, we'll always be here for you!
The good news is, the Patriots are probably getting back value on a guy they didn't think would factor into their offseason program much going forward.
The bad news is, Demps, despite all his flip-flopping is probably among the top 3 fastest guys in the entire NFL and the team likely trading for him will make use of that if they have some type of an agreement with him about his motivations.
Wonder who and for what?
"Imminent" is a relative term..
lions interested allegedly along with bucs and cards
Of course, they just drafted a guy who ran a 4.38 40 with a broken toe. So there's that.
Rich Keefe must read Patsfans:
I was expecting Demps just to be cut because of no trade partners giving his stance on track and football.
Anything we can get for him would be a huge bonus. Something is better than nothing.
So I assume the trade will be announced whenever said team gets put on the clock.
EVERYONE interested in the Patriots reads Patsfans.com!
It is the best source for info and discussion on the New England Patriots.
