Jason Cole: Patriots' punishment expected to be reduced

Then Kraft should not accept a compromise, and demand an appeal hearing in front of an independent arbiter.

This is something we haven't considered or talked about- if the compromise is just Goodell has agreed to an independent arbiter for Brady and the Pats are taking the $1MM fine for lack of cooperation that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. (Picks being removed, etc. would have to be revoked also.)

But if the announcement were of that nature I'd expected the league to make it and not Kraft.

I hope I'm wrong but I feel like if Kraft is making the announcement and not the league it means he's rolling.

Does the Wells report contain anything that would stand up to reason?

I understand Kraft being a kind soul, but this was too much and unless the NFL accepts blame (never will happen), then I don't see how the reputation will ever be the same. might as well rename our team the ?Cobra Kai Patriots and just go out and punch everyone's lights out....twice.

The more I think about it the more I am starting to think Kraft will announce that he is engaged to marry his teenage gf.

Except Brady is going to have to sue the league to get an independent arbitrator. Kraft won't do that.

Kraft will not be involved.

It will be a dispute between a labor union and an labor union member, period.

I am arguing against the argument that Kraft follow the same route Brady is. Brady is going to fight his punishment until he runs out of options or he is 100% exonerated. I am pointing out Kraft won't do that.
