even Varbel,,wille Mac,law, sammuels, seymour, branch, maybe moss and wilfork
i mean like Varbel said we have a nice mall????????
Agreed back to the Practice Squad with this one...:trolls: :trolls:
This finally got me to register. Betwen Moss, McGinnist,Asante, etc.
the pats spend as much or more than anyone else, but they don't just don't spend most of it on a few guys.
I know I've read it before, but here is a link to it as well:
Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston
Check out the Feb. 07 post at 6:00pm. look at #9. The pats spend just a little less than than two franchises who have the opposite preception over the last 5years. The Colts and the Jets!
the pats is cheap
If Kraft did not build a beautiful mall, he would use the money to keep our best players or hire the best staffs.
People need to understand that we need the best players on the field. Regardless of how good our plan or coach is, we'll never win more championship if we have cheap players on the field.
It's the bottom line.
I don't know if your being serious or you want to get a rise out of people, but I will answer your question as if you truly believe Kraft is cheap.i feel like we lose guys that will help the team and we justlet them walk away when they are looking to get paid

Vrabel - He was horrible in '08 and it's mind boggling when people question why the Pats traded him. He had absolutely no value.
Willie Mac - It was time for him to go. Nobody would miss him or Vrabel had the Pats groomed some legit replacements.
Law - Should've been re-signed. They might have overpayed, but when you only option is Duane Starks, it's not overpaying.
Samuel - How can fans still butcher his name (Samuels)? Anyway, had I known that the best the Pats were going to do in '08 was sign Fernando Bryant and Jason Webster and draft Wheatley and Wilhite, I would've "overpayed" for Samuel in heartbeat. By the way, Samuel couldn't have gone to a better team that maximizes his abilities. I wonder if BB thinks if he blew it on that one.
Seymour - one of the dumbest moves of '09. He would've easily helped the Pats stop the run and get some inside push on passing downs. For the people that think he's overrated, he led the team in sacks with 8 in '08. That is pretty pathetic for a team that runs a 3-4 but kudos to him.
Branch - It was a horrible move at the time and is arguably one of the reasons the Pats ended up losing in the AFC championship game. All they needed was one catch. However, had the one the super bowl, do think BB would've gone after Randy Moss and Wes Welker?
Wilfork - I'm sure the Pats have already made up their minds. I personally think Wilfork is overrated and won't lose sleep at night if he leaves. Other teams in the NFL have proven that you don't have to have a "name" at NT to stop the run.
Moss - If the Pats don't get help for Moss, especially if Welker miss half or even the entire 2010 season, Moss will leave as Watson probably will this season.
To sum it all up, the Pats really haven't let too many players go that have ended up biting them in the a**. The only players that the Pats dropped the ball on was Ty Law, Seymour, Samuel, maybe Branch and we don't know about Wilfork or Moss. However, I will throw out one name that hasn't been mentioned and it's David Givens. It's not like his contract was outrageous and his toughness really could've been used against the Colts in the '06 title game.
For argument's sake:
Pats 2009 payroll was last in the league.
NFL Team Payrolls
3rd to last in 2008
2008 NFL Team Payroll Rankings
And here's USA Today's NFL Payrolls since 00'. USATODAY.com
going to be a long, long offseason...
What people don't realize about the mall is that it's very stout against the run. Just try running through, around or over it. It's hard, I found that out last August.
Also, some poeple may not realize that the mall has nothing to do with the salary cap.
Also also, the mall rarely fumbles. Adrian Peterson fumbles much more per carry than the mall does, for example.
And finally, malls are better for shopping than washed up linebackers.
