Lawsuits left and right? A re-match?
Thanks. Fixed it.Down to the hundredths of a cent. That's some precise fining going on.
Arguably the most influential call of the game went in our favor. Manning's pass was ruled incomplete on the field, and the overturned after the refs called it a backwards pass (and a NE fumble recovery). We ended up scoring a touchdown on the ensuing drive. The easily could have upheld the call on the field -- even the commentators conceded that that was very hard to tell from the camera angles. You will never convince me that the NFL didn't weight the odds in the AFCCG to help Denver get to the SB. Whether through NOT testing certain players, refraining from post-game testing, leaning on the refs to NOT make holding calls against Denver, making phantom calls against the Patriots and then Carolina, etc, there has been a concerted effort to deflect attention from NE and crown Manning as the GOAT.
Go ahead, call me a nutter, a conspiracy nut, whatever. I don't care anymore because it's been so obvious for anyone who wants to see. Even last night, replay showed a False Start penalty against the Panthers, yet no one could be seen moving. There were obvious holding calls against Carolina, and against NE in the AFCCG that weren't called. Blatant grabbing of arms and jerseys, etc. Then add in the Nance/Simms ball washing of Manning before and all through the game. Both the AFCCG and the SB. It was obvious that the fix was in.

I know how conspiracy theories work though. Now someone is going to quote my post and they're going to exaggerate how obvious it was to overturn this call. They're going to say, "well, they had no choice to overturn that call. It was so blatantly obvious that it would've been a dead giveaway that they were favoring the Broncos if they didn't overturn it."
Agree ...I admit I have a problem with this. The guy played amazingly through the playoffs, so we immediately GO THERE?
I don't like it. if it was a Patriots' player stepping up and playing his mind out for a few games, the only thread here would be "EXTEND THE BEAST!"
Just give the guy his due and let it all fall where it falls.
well considering von has never tested positive for PEDs ever..... i would say this thread is....
full of extremely sour grapes
well saidAgree ...
Lots of Bronco hate in this forum ... too much actually ... a thread like this is disturbing.
On top of that ... guy was drafted #2 ...
He doesn't fit the profile of someone who suddenly had a few great years by crossing the line.
He is guilty of one thing though ...

How about act like a MAN and enter the thread ...
Apparently Ian's thread on misuse of disgrees and dislikes was not enough for you.
Time Ian dealt with you more sternly IMO and I'll be happy to bring it to his attention.
