Hitler's played here by Bruno Ganz, IIRC; a very, very good actor.

I agree. His portrayal of Hitler was a great piece of work. I'd also mention Christian Berkel's performance among the many good performances.

I echo what others said, for those interested in the World War II subject, Downfall is a must see.

thats great!

Thanks. You're right, it's been overdone but it's always funny to watch when someone puts out a new one.

I'm not Jewish, put as a human being I find it offensive. To make matters worse, I find it extremely disrespectful to the Kraft family, who lost family members in the Holocaust including MHK's grandparents.

Yeah...bringing Skip Bayless into it was uncalled for.

Having watched the movie(Downfall) which chronicles the pathetic end to this madman's life, and this clip which mocks Hitler to the point that a man who wanted to rule the world is reduced to arranging a carpool to a bar, how is this being disrespectful ?

Then watching the clip is probably not for you.

Not at all.

Living in the heart of the deep south..... amongst the ancestors of slave traders and plantatation owners.....not a problem. But actors portraying a historical moment......ah.....the outrage becomes too much. And you return to the thread as a spectator, despite the dehumanizing effects. True courage

Sorry Borg, I'm not quite getting what you're saying.

No, not really......... It's a soapbox for you to climb up on so you can preach to the masses for enjoying a relatively silly internet video that has circulated in some form or another for 4-5 years.

It must be terribly pathetic to to go through your life viewing everything though an semitic/anti-semitic lens.

old and gay.
