...is going to be without a doubt the most painful thing I'll ever have to do as a sports fan. Seeing him in another uniform just sucks!

I can't say I miss Trot at all. I'll always wish him well but never understood the worship he received.

The guy put his nutz on the line every play, never *****ed about anything, and came up clutch on many occasions. He made Roger Clemens his beeotch!

I don't ever remember him figuring out lefties.

Makes him another Bledsoe, only less so.

Hey, I'm a poet and didn't know it.

i loved trot nixon .he always played hard and put the team first .he also had some good years and some excellent games .labor day in 03 against the phillies comes to mind .that being said i wont have any problem hoping he falls flat on his face against the sox.

I honestly would have preferred Trot play less "hard" if he could instead have been on the field more.

Even JD Drew is better than Trot. I used to like Trot ... but have sinced moved on. 30 years ago Trot would have been luicky to play in the league ... platoon player ... wtf!!!
