Alright everyone, first time i'm able to start a thread and have been waiting ages to ask this.

Is this possible?

We have 2 QBs on the roster. Therefore can't take advantage of the 46th man rule.

Would it be possible to declare Edelman as the 2nd QB. Having Brian Hoyer as the 3rd (Emergency) QB.

Obviously it would mean Edelman possibly taking a snap as a QB once a game in the Wildcat to get around the regulations, but is this possible in the eyes of the league?

If I understand correctly, the #3 QB would have to come in as a QB and then both others would not be allowed to play from then on...

Until the 4th Quarter anyway.

That would mean that if TFB got hurt in the first, we would have to knock Edelman out of the game or have him QB until the 4th Quarter.

Not ideal, but if Tom gets hurt, what can you do?

Won't happen. Edelman will be on the 45 as a WR, because WR is his position... QB will be in emergency cases only (hopefully never).

I don't think you really declare a 2nd QB. It could be anybody.

Could you say this then.

Eric Alexander is my 2nd QB? :D

Actually, if I understand the Gamebooks published by the league after each game, yes, teams do have to declare who the QBs are on their rosters.
