Forum Mock Draft

The Cardinals select QB Mike Glennon

I understand the scheme fit for AZ, but I never would've guessed that Manuel and Glennon come off the board before Nassib and Barkley. Although I suppose in a mock with trades, that wouldn't happen.

I think Barkley is a flop.....

I don't know that much about Nassib.....I just think glennon has more to work with

I think its a zero net sum.......with Ninko as a DE in the 4-3, it's as close to being a 3-4 as it is......even so.....if you're looking to 3-4, then kawann short would have been the dude at that moment

Short is 6'3" to Max's point about BB wanting length. He does have long arms though but I think he's more of a 4-3 DT.

maybe so, but in my estimation he offers much more than jones. to me it's like why draft jones in round 1 when you can get malliciah goodman in round 3 or take a shot on quanterus smith late?

I like Jones more than you do so we can agree to disagree.

Goodman is too light to play a 3-4 DE but I like his length and wingspan a lot. If BB is sticking with a 4-3 I like him as a DE. Drafting him would mean Cunningham and maybe Berquette are done.

Smith is too light for either a 3-4 or 4-3 end and lacks the quickness to play outside LB in either scheme. He's going to have to throw on at least 10 pounds to play a 4-3 DE and I'm not sure what that will do with his speed.

I think jones is too light for 3-4 de.....he came in light at the combine (277)

I saw him listed as 286 but if only 277 he may be too light as well.

Ya my fault.

Cbssports lists him as 283, but his combine results there say 277....don't know enough about his frame
