Former Colt Herron Works Out for Patriots

Sounds like the Patriots might be trying to block the Colts from getting a decent back honestly would anyone cry if we released Bolden for him?

One of your top 3 st guys is worth far more than keeping a #4 run who would be inactive. The Colts could bring in a 24 year old Jim Brown and would lose to the Pats by 30 puts.

I will go out on a limb here.

IMHO, having an additional backup RB on the 53 (and we none on the PS), would be more valuable than our 12th defensive lineman, Thornton.

He's only the best STer on the Patriots not named "Matt Slater".

Yeah, that would ****ing suck.

We don't need him ... at this time.

Boom Herron could be one of those typical types of under the radar signings. We could do much worse than a RB who has averaged 4.5 YPC with the capacity to catch out of the backfield. He likely wouldn't be active any time soon, but he may strengthen the depth.

Herron doesn't bring anything that either Cadet or Jonas Gray offered. I think BB is just kicking the tires.
