Felix Jones for a second or third round pick scenario floated.

Keep the picks; sign Ronnie Brown or Pierre Thomas.

thats the best logic i think. i thiunk felix would be a good change of pace but signing someone like thomas who i think is a good back would leave us with a good back and our pick... nuff said

I like punishing running backs that can carry the ball 20+ times and close out games in the fourth quarter. I think the team can benefit from finding this type of back and giving him his 20+ carries a game - whether it be BJGE, a draft pick, or a FA. I don't think Felix Jones is that guy.

I would rather Choice or Barber before I would want Jones
LOL Barber really? Barber should be released he is overpaid and overrated. Dallas should be playing Choice more and using Jones in passing situations although he probably isn't the best at blitz pickup but neither is Gronk (Romo :( :D).

No to Felix Jones, Yes to Pierre Thomas......No to Ronnie Brown also.

There are only so many carries in a game. With faulk resigned woodhead and benny`s carries will come down a bit .

So having these 3 its a great time to draft not 1 but 2 RB in the later rounds where we seem to have alot of picks. We draft late OL and DL prospects so instead draft them high and take 2 Rb and 2 WR in 6th or 7th .

The Pats have very few low-round picks ATM. Current reports have them having their 4, their 5, and New Orleans' 6, but they owe an undisclosed pick to KC for Jarrad Page.

I'd rather have a FB

Felix Jones has averaged 5.3 ypc for his 3 year career and he will turn 24 years old in May.

He may have a injury history, but so does Pierre Thomas.

I say if we can get him for a 3rd round pick.... do it.

Let's see what kind of poduction we have got out of 3rd round picks
in recent years.

2010 - Taylor Price
2009 - Brandon Tate
2009 - Tyrone McKenzie
2008 - Shawn Crable
2008 - Kevin O'Connell
2007 - No 3rd round pick
2006 - David Thomas
2005 - Ellis Hobbs
2005 - Nick Kaczur
2004 - Gus Scott
2003 - No 3rd round pick
2002 - No 3rd round pick
2001 - Brock Williams

I would take Felix Jones over any of these guys.......
Considering that this draft is not deep, if we could get a guy who has
a 5.3 ypc behind a terrbile OL for a 3rd round pick, we should go for it.

I don't know why you would give up any picks for Felix Jones. He's an occasionally dynamic rb, but mostly injured, and not a a great runner between the tackles.

I'd rather get Tashard Choice. More durable, and well rounded.

Keep the picks. Build a defense.
