This makes sense.
After hearing from Belichick yesterday (and why the EFF didn't he hold a presser like THAT in 2007????), it is clear that the Patriots treat their footballs with plenty of rubbing substances,as is legal. These substances are one of the factors credited with changing the PSi in the footballs, especially when mixed with the rain/cold/wind conditions.
Why didn't the Colts footballs have the same change in PSi measurement? is a common question asked.
The answer: They WOULD have, had the Colts followed their normal/standard pregame football preparation procedures. Because the revelations coming out increasingly point to this as a coordinated "gotcha" sting operation, perhaps it was the COLTS as the side that did things differently with their routine.
Note: Brady's stat line from that game is no better or worse than his normal stat line.
The outlier is LUCK'S stat line!!!!!!
12-33 for 126 0 TD 2 INT. Has he EVER had that bad a game? Were his receivers/TE's not all healthy and playing?
I know, I know the weather was bad, but when has he ever had as bad a stat line? The Colts had zero chance in that game going in and they knew it.
Has an investigator asked the Colts whether they did ANYTHING to treat their footballs? It would be an interesting twist if their footballs were purposely untreated so that there would be no deflation in those conditions.
OK, throw your bricks now, my tinfoil hat will protect me!
