It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Expecting that is not "wrong", but hoping for it might be.Is it wrong that I came in here expecting Michael Sam to be reporting live from the shower? I was like, "Really? The hell is this?"
I would too, but probably not when I was 25. Would you have been flatterered at 25? Did they have running water back then?I'd be flattered if someone got a chubby just from looking at me from across a steamy shower room.
VERY flattered.
If you have seen the movie "42" (I highly recommend it if you haven't) the Jackie Robinson character sits at this locker after a game and admits that he waits until after the rest of the Dodgers shower before he does. I'm sure whoever wrote this at ESPN was trying to equate Sam to Robinson (boy that's a reach, Robinson had to deal with credible death threats and among many other indignities had to stay in private homes instead of the team's hotel) meanwhile Sam is the most celebrated late 7th round draft pick, ever!
I'm sure Sam will be an ESPN employee after he gets cut.
I'm not coming from a homophobic standpoint, but I'm sure it is the same as me walking into the women's changing rooms. I would be like a fat kid in a candy shop
I was surprised when ESPN reported on Sam's hygiene. In case anyone missed that story, ESPN apologized for running the story which gave everyone a reason to repost the story. The story itself isn't funny, but these deadpanned lines are...
"Michael Sam is waiting to take a shower, as not to make his teammates feel uncomfortable.”
“they didn’t know that, specifically, and also weren’t tracking that.”
"He's just trying to feel his way through and see what guys he can relate to."
"He's shown some flashes."
The caption beneath the article reads, "How Michael Sam is fitting in with Rams teammates."
I know it's juvenile, but don't they have proofreaders at ESPN?

Not likely. Gay men are not attracted to all men the same way Straight men are not attracted to all women. Sam's boyfriend is a pretty good looking guy. I would bet that he has absolutely no attraction to any of his teammates.
I dont know why ESPN would think anyone would even want to hear about this.
I'm not sure, let's take the way back machine to 1998 and fine out...I would too, but probably not when I was 25. Would you have been flatterered at 25? Did they have running water back then?
Mine is in the shop. Can I catch a ride in yours?I'm not sure, let's take the way back machine to 1998 and fine out...
