Just in case anyone needs a reminder of comments made by the Eagles...

I doubt there's anyone in the Patriots locker room who's forgotten this.

LOL, I imagine they said these things before the Pats started getting their rep for running up the score. Flail Eagle Flail.

Probably - but the damage is done. I think every stupid or ignorant player and coach who made these sort of comments is on a locker room "no mercy" list.

The comments from their defense are the ones that seem serious (and if so, pretty stupid).

One might have thought that these Eagles would have done two things before opening their mouths:

    1. Looked at their schedule
    2. Looked at their own history of foolish comments (see Freddie Mitchell) and the effective use Belichick made of these comments

It amazes me to no end how idiots in this league continue to play into BB's hands. And what is even more amazing is that even if they know they're doing it, they still won't (or can't) stop.

Wasn't it Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott who said "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me."? Here's to the rest of the league continuing to shame itself.

It is amazing, my choice would have been to keep the piehole shut, but some folks never learn..

Yes, I saw the press conference when he said it. It was total sarcasm with a big smile on his face.

It just gives the Patriots more motivation on Sunday. I don't think the Eagles are going to like the consequences of their words. :p

    No Jersey Selected

McNabb and Mahe were being sarcastic. Brown and Dawkins, that's a different story.

    #12 Jersey

Most of the statements by the Eagles were in jest but a few were serious. Most notably, those by the defense. Lito Sheppard (spelling?) was convinced that the Pats were reading their defensive plays. He basically said the Pats cheated him out of a superbowl ring.

I think you are referring to Sheldon Brown, he had a lot to say. The Eagles' best player, Brian Westbrook, kept his mouth shut, so maybe we'll go easyt on him.

I admire the hell out of Brian Westbrook, he would be the ultimate weapon in this Pat's offense.{except Moss of course} One of my favorite non Patriot players for sure.

To me it doesn't matter if they were being sarcastic or not. The way the Eagles played the last ten minutes of that game was embarrassing. They could not execute a two-minute drill to get themselves back into the game because their QB was throwing up!

That McNabb and Mahe could make light of their own incompetence is pathetic.

Yes, in 1996 Scotty did indeed say that this was an Earth saying. Chechov immediately indicated that it was a Russian saying. Apparently the source is Chinese.

Hambone and Patsnut ,I'm with you on this one,McNabb was certainly being sarcastic when he made those comments, lets save the venom for those like Shula,Dungy who were quick to salt the wounds with stupid comments after spygate.

    Why dig that trash up?

I honestly don't see it as being relevant now that we've proven we didn't need no steenking cameras.

And besides that it wasn't illegal back then. I wonder how many of those Philly fans or players even realize that? Pretty lame to grouse over getting your ass handed to you. Films didn't make their QB choke up the ball on his march toward glory. There was no march toward glory because he wasn't good enough.

I realize that this is the Age of No Hurting of Feelings but jeezuz, your hurt and angry feelings are your responsibility. Try to take care of what is yours and quit blaming it on somebody else.

Hell, my dad died without every having seen a Patriots SB trophy, or a Red Sox trophy. Was that the fault of the Yankees or Bears? Get serious - their job is to beat us down if we let them. It's that simple. If you don't want to get beat down, grow a good team.

"lay the 22 and take the Pats."
