Denver Post - Pats are now "too soft" to repeat

Pats are soft?...jeez...hey, is Viagra a banned substance?

It seems like an odd conclusion but Denver fans have been like this all week. I'm sure when brock has a bad game they will be desperate to go back to Peyton.

Most of you talk about Denver, but what does this has to do with the Broncos? It's a pundit's opinion, obviously nobody within the organization thinks that.

Excuses are for Jets fans. This was an embarrassment.

What excuse? They are a bad team right now because all of their top players are missing. You're insane if you don't think losing Gronk, Edelman, Lewis, Hightower, etc, hurts. Luckily, everyone except Lewis will be back.

They gave this game away, i'm not chalking this up to players being out.

They had control of the game and melted down with coaching decisions and special teams, not helped by Brady forcing the ball, nothing to do with Gronk or Edelman.

They were GOING to give them material.. 4th quarter proved otherwise. Too many injuries on offense. We'll roll again if we can get at least 2 of the 3 main guys going.

Injuries are not an excuse to lose to one of the worst teams in the league. We were up 14 and looking fine and then **** hit the fan. This was a group ****fest. ST needs to be thrown out to pasture this entire week because they were disgraceful. The O-Line isn't as good as people think it is. The quick pass offense and Brady getting the ball out made the O-Line look better than it is.

They are not a bad team right now. They are underperforming, and will step it up.

Because you seem to have trouble seeing what I'm saying, let me spell it out. Did those personnel issues force the stupid onside kick? Did it force those stupid throws? Did it make our special teams so much worse in coverage? We should have won this game, but blew it because of ****ty coaching and execution, especially on STs.

Patriots find a way, they don't sit there making excuses. That's for the Jets, that's how mediocre teams end up out of the playoffs. Blame the refs. Blame injuries. Blame the weather. Blame the crowd. Blame Goodell. Losers make excuses while the Patriots take responsibility for their actions and find a way to win games.

We will not lose next week. No excuses. Belichick is going to be all over McDaniels and ST this week. Our coaching will be better next week. Brady will play better next week. The OLine will play better next week. ST will be better next week. They won't make excuses, they will find solutions. That's how the Patriots dominate year after year, despite injuries.
