Koppen went to IR. Connolly filled and played well. Now with Connolly out, Wendell started. I didn't notice any problems. Did any of you?

BTW, it will be great to go into an off-season without a major offensive line problem. We could start next year with these six: Light, Mankins, Wendell, Cannon, Vollmer and Solder.
Of course, we might add a draftee, re-sign Koppen, Waters, Thomas and/or Connolly, or sign a free agent.

Props to Wendell as well as Dante! It's really amazing that our third string center can step in and we don't miss a beat.

I'd also be incredibly surprised if all three of Koppen, Connolly and Waters aren't back next year.

Given the importance of continuity on the line, and after watching the Jets' line collapse without Mangold's leadership, props are definitely due to the whole OL corps and coaches.

Plug in a last-minute vet addition at a position he's never played? Plug in a raw rookie at a position he's never played? Lose your starting center...and then lose his backup? No problem. Pretty extraordinary.

As for next year, IIRC Waters is under contract and Wendell is a RFA.

I thought that we extended all of the 2011 ERFA's including Wendell.

My bad on Waters; he is indeed signed through 2012.

I think our OL is an unsung PROBLEM this season.

It was great to see Pat Hill's boys protecting the GOAT tonight!

My guess is that Koppen's gone and we add a new C via the draft.

During the prime/back nine of Brady's career, making sure he is well protected is priority number 1. If there is a Pouncey quality C available in the draft, I'd be more than happy taking him with a late first.

Dear Lord :bricks: You do not waste a first round pick on a center. Center is the easiest position in the NFL.

There is a reason the Pouncey twins and guys like Nick Mangold go in the first round.
