Charlie Weis to approach NEs coaching staff for help in the offseason - Pathetic

Come on, it's clear Charlie has no understanding over coaching offensive line, defensive line, linebackers, defensive backs, and special teams. Since he doesn't know, he can't really supervise his assistant coaches over the job they're doing.

Notre Dame lost to Navy and Air Force for Christ sake, there is no excuse losing to 2 military academies with the talent ND has.

You sound delusional and completely crazy. A d-1 team should never lose to a military academy that doesn't recruit for athletes.

Try not to make yourself look ridiculous. Talk to Michigan Dave about his team's struggles against an inferior team this season and, perhaps, you'll understand.

I don't understand the animosity towards Weis. Everything is great in Patriotland. Charlie was a great soldier and deserves alot more respect than whats going on this board.

I didn't know Saban was a friend of his!!!!! He will probably be seeking some help too after his stellar year as the savior of Alabama. They are about ready to kill him.

Saban was on BB's staff in Cleveland as were a few other guys who are college HC's.

Anyone think that the fat coaching genius that once inhabited Charlie's body now coaches for the Kansas Jayhawks?

I expect Weis back on the Patriots in the 2010-2011 season (2 more seasons without him).

Notre Dame won't be able to take losing anymore, Weis will realize he's not Head Coach material, Notre Dame will cut him lose and eat the remaining years of his salary.

Josh McDaniels will take a Head Coach offer -- after having a resume of being the OC of the greatest 3 year offensive stretch by any team in NFL history.

McDaniels will probably get an offer this off-season by some sad team, but he seems smart enough to realize he's better off waiting for the perfect situation, instead of going into a lose-lose situation. Also, it doesn't hurt to keep learning from the Master.

Weis gets the OC job, and the superbowl victories continue.

A recruiting record is nothing more than a prediction about what good high schoolers have gone where. It has no more validity that the idiots that give draft day grades and talk about how brilliant San Diego was to select Ryan Leaf or Cincy was to select "Big Daddy" Wilkerson.

It is still the only measuring stick to rate recruiting classes. It is almost like rating which colleges got the high school player that were the highest demanded recruits. It still says a lot about a colleges ability to draw talent...whether it's true or perceived.

It is a very accurate means of measuring the skills of each college's recruiting skills...and the ONLY way. After that, you can evaluate whether these players were actually talented or not and thus rate the college's ability to evaluate talent.

They are 2 different processes.
