I hope there's truth to all these rumors, but I just don't see it happening.

Of course, I've been wrong about my gut feelings before. I was 100% sure that last season was "the year." :bricks:

Good news for the Patriots: I don't feel that this is "the year." :rocker:

Now we just have to bring back Moss and along with Johnson and Haynesworth :D

I think this tells us that Belichik has regained faith in the leadership in the lockerroom otherwise he wouldn't be making this move.

Felger's source says that OchoCinco to the Pats is a done deal.

I actually like this. He isn't the OchoCinco that can put up 1400 yards and 8-9 TDs, but he is still a good WR. Not elite or even great. He still is capable of getting 1,000 yards. He fits into the Pats system well because he is smart, a terrific route runner, and can fight for the ball.
I wouldn't mind getting him and moss. Moss and chad at outside reciever and branch and welker at slot, hernandez and gronk at TE. We would have a great sjotgun formation. Not to mention our rb are pretty good and we got 2 rookies coming in also

If he were being asked to be a the #1 on the team that's one thing, but the fact that he's being teamed up with Deion Branch could work well. I hope he can block well ...if he is in fact joining the Pats.

I think Ocho eliminates the need for Moss.

You just made a 6 receiver formation

It be nice to have both of them. I liked moss because he would usually take away the corner and safety

Moss is gone, just leave it at that. We're pretty stocked at WR if Ocho is coming here.
1a.) Welker
1b.) Branch
1c.) Ochocinco
2.) Tate
3.) Edelman
4.) Price

Slater and one of the UDFA's figure in there somewhere as well if either make the team. We've also got Hernandez and Gronk to catch passes and Woodhead out of the backfield. I just don't see room for anymore pass catcher unless you're simply filling out the 90man roster.

This would be BIG.....I luv this guy. Most important to me is that he is hard to bring down after the catch.

Ocho,Gronk and Hernandez,all lined-up on the same side........GET OUTTA HERE!:rocker:

No I was jus saying that gronk or hernandez would be the TE. If we go by what your saying I made a 6 reciever formation with 4 rbs and no lineman haha

Not for nuthin' and just a general observation, but I always find it very funny that sports analysts are always 'evaluating athletes' when 9/10ths of them can't waddle to the fridge for old Chinese and a Diet Coke. The other one percentile are 90 lb. weaklings. What a country!

That also goes for the general populace.

I don't dislike Schefter at all, but I tend to prefer guys in the game. With the exception of Shannon Sharpe, of course, who sounds like that Bill Cosby character, Mush Mouth. "Hebbe mebbe futbawl hebbe mebbe score will be hebbe mebbe defense hebbe mebbe wins." "Dude, WHAT?" Let me rewind that. . ." "Hebbe mebbe futbawl hebbe mebbe score will be hebbe mebbe defense hebbe mebbe wins." "Maybe it's just me. . ." "Hebbe mebbe futbawl hebbe mebbe score will be hebbe mebbe defense hebbe mebbe wins." "OK, the third time wasn't a charm."

Jaworski rules and is the only guy I really like. He seriously knows what he's talking about. And I can understand him.

Ok, but how is the ball snapped?

IF Ochocinco comes here (big IF, these are just rumors and I'm more than just a bit skeptical), then the depth chart might look like this:

1. Ochocinco/Johnson (according to wiki he's not changing his name due to money issues)
2. Welker
3. Branch
4. Price/Tate
5. Edelperson
6. Tate/Price

I have an odd feeling that Price is going to take over at WR, leaving Tate as a KR specialist.
